ATTENTION!!! SUBMIT THE APPLICATION FOR REGISTRATION UPON PLACE OF STAY WITHIN 10 DAYS AFTER ARRIVAL
DEAR CANDIDATES, PLEASE BE INFORMED THAT ALL THE STUDENTS OR CANDIDATES (WHO IS GOING TO APPLY FOR STUDYING AT BAKU STATE UNIVERSITY) HAVE TO COME WITH THE EDUCATION VISA, OTHERWISE THERE WILL BE DIFFICULTIES FOR GETTING
RESIDENCE PERMIT (GREEN CARD).
Foreigners or stateless persons temporarily staying in the Republic of Azerbaijan for more than 10 days should be registered upon place of stay. For this purpose, management of the place of stay of the foreigner or stateless person or owner of the residential area should submit the application for registration upon place of stay and copy of the passport (other border crossing document) of that person to the State Migration Service through official website (www.migration.gov.az) of the State Migration Service of Azerbaijan Republic, e-mail (qeydiyyat@migration.gov.az) or in person within 10 days after arrival of the person in the country.
Foreigners and stateless persons can also apply themselves in aforementioned way for registration upon place of stay.
No state fee is required for registration upon place of stay of foreigners and stateless persons.
Documents required for issuance (extension) of a permit for temporary residence in the territory of the Republic of Azerbaijan (RA) for International Students
Application form sample of which approved by the relevant executive authority;
Copy of the passport (validity period of passport should be more than 6 months of the expiry date of the temporary residence permit to be issued);
Notarized copy of the birth certificate or other document equal to it;
Notarized or equally certified document confirming existence of cases justifying issuance of temporary residence permit;
The document of a residential area-where the person shall be registered on (extract on the state registration of the property right from state registry of real estate, warrant for accommodation, rent or tenancy agreement or other document set forth in the legislation of the Republic of Azerbaijan);
Application of the person providing a foreigner with a residential area (except the cases when there is a residential area in possession of the foreigner);
Notarized marriage certificate for married people;
Birth certificates of the children (certified by notary);
Copy of the identity document of the person providing the foreigner with a residential area (except the cases when there is a residential area in possession of the foreigner);
Copy of the document authorizing to stay or temporarily reside in the territory of the Republic of Azerbaijan;
Four photos sized 3x4 cm;
Reference certifying that the person is not carrier of a virus of any disease included in the list of dangerous infectious diseases (Human Immunodeficiency Virus Infection, Hepatitis B and Hepatitis C) approved by the relevant executive authority
Application form sample of which approved by the relevant executive authority;

Reference certifying that the person is not carrier of a virus of any disease included in the list of dangerous infectious diseases (Human Immunodeficiency Virus Infection, Hepatitis B and Hepatitis C) approved by the relevant executive authority;
Four photos sized 3x4 cm;
The order of admission of teaching at BSU;
Receipt certifying payment of the state fee.
Receipt certifying payment of the state fee is submitted by foreigners when the permission card for temporary residence on the territory of the Republic of Azerbaijan is presented to them.
